Im looking for a new putter and played with these for awhile, I think they look really nice but felt kind of hard, the i series with the insert felt really soft like a Scotty.

i haven't played w/ them at the course, but did try them on real green to demo.
i used to have the XG version which was very soft, but i eventually didn't want too soft of putter. the insert in odyssey makes it soft and crisp at the same time, and if i had them, i'll play it. it's just that i like my cameron putter better because it's specs suits me the best. black series are good putters though.

Beautiful putters, very well made and lovely clicky but soft feeel. I went over to a half-mallet in the end because the heel-toe heads are not very forgiving and I wanted to increase moi, but they are lovely putters and I can highly recommend them
I was putting really well with them indooors at the shop, I preferred the iseries over the regular. Very nice putters.

Indoors is one thing, but like most heel/toe designs, they are not very forgiving and you really need a very consistent stroke to use well on longer utts in particular.
I putt better with my Redwood Anser then all the new designs I've had. Especially on long putts.
I also tried the black series putters and they felt very nice. The Anser just seemed to feel right for me since that is the design I've played for so many years.![]()

i have older anser putter w/ sound slot. got it in similar spec as my scotty and practice putting on carpet at home. they don't feel as smooth (mostly because extra lead tapes) but still have that clicky feel which i prefer. if i had to buy a putter for less than 100 bucks, the new anser 2 is the one.

Friend has one, absolutely wonderful putter, and if I hadn't spent near enough £200 on my Scotty I'd have bought one of these instead.
It has wonderful feel, weight and from a general weak putters perspective gaining distance control with it was easy! Highly recommended from this corner.
