Thread: I just bought a Videocaddy

Seriously, the VideoCaddy is intended to use on a golf cart (but will also attach to a golf bag for the range). It takes the hassle out of recording your swing on the course. No friends holding the camera, no adjusting, it won't fall....just simply pull up to the ball and hit record.

PS- that is the ugliest green wall I have ever seen!
The guy has an air freshener tho, cut him some slack.

And, when his old lady finds out that he's using that mop handle for golf instead of what he's supposed to be using it for (whip crack!), he'll be in bigger trouble than what we could ever do.

Actually, as one who is an avid photographer, you are making my point for me. If I have an expensive camera, why would I trust a device such as this when you can piece together the identical device with equipment I know I can trust for about 2/3's of the price. I could only likely see trusting my $79 camera on your device because I have no familiarity with the quality of the product. I certainly wouldn't trust it to hold my $1000 SLR, and even if I could, why would I want to spend the extra money. For some who own more expensive equipment, they also likely own nicer accessories, so my intent however facetious as it may have seemed was to explain that not only could this be done for cheaper, but with a little thought could likely have been done with the expensive equipment you already have for your camera, with exception to maybe a camera clamp which could likely serve other purposes in the future. I had the luxury of doing so because I am not trying to sell my product.

You think so? I guess it wouldn't help to mention that the color is the identical color made by the identical paint manufacturer used in the dining room at Mount Vernon. I know because I called Mount Vernon to get the information.

George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens - learn
The Mount Vernon Virtual Mansion Tour

So while I admire your honesty, I would simply say that I am comfortable with my taste and am in good company. There is a story about the paint used, maybe you can research and read about it some day or simply go to Mount Vernon and ask.

BTW, just from personal experience, you may not sell many product on here by insulting the taste and thought processes of our founding fathers.

I guess that didn't quite pan out like you thought.

P.S. ... but then again, knowing that you are a fan of Howard Stern, I guess I can form my own opinion about your taste, and likely take your comment as a compliment.

First, the parts we used are of the highest quality which I find it hard to believe that you could find for cheaper.

Secondly, The founding fathers, although respected, are dead. We have come a long way in paint technology and color. Besides, who is to say that just because they founded our country, they had great taste? Did you ever see their hairstyles?

Uh, is this not you bringing the wall colour into the forum, Tim?

The kettle called....it's black. More of a matte dark grey, really.

Well, it is actually more of a purple, but if you want to get real technical, and being familiar with lighting as I am, if you stand in certain areas, and have the right kind of lighting or at certain times during the day it could possibly be construed as pink. But then again, I am comfortable with my manhood and even drove a "Magenta" car for 5 years because it was the only automatic, 4WD, convertible on the lot and I wanted a car that day. Even more, I have no problem saying so on here and do so with pride.

Besides, I didn't have to paint it, and I would challenge you to get that kind of design and character on your wall with whatever color you desire.

Again, guess that didn't quite pan out like you thought.

What do you think Rock, should Bubba Watson change the shaft on his driver? He kinda looks like a women when he hits those 400 yard drives.

I think Tims getting frustrated, he's starting to change his posts after you draw what he says into question. Me on the other hand, Iwake up looking at a pink room, after that I can likely handle whatever comes my way that day.

Darn it, I made sure there were no air fresheners in the picture, but didn't notice there was a little cobweb in the corner. Did you ever notice you can never find a broom when you really need one?
