Golf Noob Need advice on new set of clubs....

Hello Y'all,
I'm a noob to golf, just played about 5-6 times on a course and a couple of times on the range with my dad's old skool clubs... I am really getting into the game and would like to upgrade my iron set first.. There are so MANY companies out there and I would like to find a decent set... I was thinking about spending anywhere from about 300-400 dollars for a set which I'm not sure will cut it or not... Anyways I was looking at maybe purchasing a used set of "decent" clubs or would it be better to purchase a brand new set of clubs that maybe aren't of the better known brands... I've been to numerous sites for golf club reviews but there are so many reviews I can' even narrow them down except the ones that are super expensive....

Thanks in advance...

King Par is an unknown quantity at this point
Check out Global Golf. They have tons of used equipment, in great condition at great prices.

Global Golf is your answer. Look at some cavity backs, all the companies make them, Taylor Made, Callaway, Cleveland, SRIXON. In fact, I can hook you up with a set of Cleveland HiBore irons, 3-pw with head covers. I played them for 3/4's of a season. They still look and play brand new. PM me if your interested.
