Need Iron Advice

I'm going to be buying some new irons before the golf season starts here in Michigan. I shoot in the 45-50 range. I've been saving all winter so, if you were to buy clubs what would you recommend? What do people have and really like? I've been looking into the Cobras, R7, and Callaways. Let me know. Thanks

I live in Plymouth. I go to Carl's Golfland everyday so I have tested out all the new irons and am extremely excited about purchasing cobra carbon cbs. If you are in the 5- 15 handicap range, nothing is better than carbon cb's, x- forged, and MP- 57's. Hit these three and nothing else unless you are a total hacker, then pick up fusions.

what works for me, might not work for you. i'd say do a bit of shop around and hit demo clubs to get the feel of them before you buy. if you are high handicapper, stick with over-size or mid-size. you may also want to look at reselling value of the clubs too...

Take a look at Wilson Staff Irons I just picked up some for $100 off ebay. Try some Di5's they are a cavity back iron. You can pick them up for around $130 on global golf.
