Comparison of Diamana and V2

I've been doing some homework on the Diamana shafts. I'm wondering how a UST V2 76g shaft compares to a Diamana Blueboard 83 (the x5ct). Is the V2 somewhere in between a Blueboard and Whiteboard? I'm most interested in ball flight characteristics, feel, "flex point", etc.

Thanks

WildCatGolfer17 is an unknown quantity at this point
Diamana= More feel, Better quality more expensive, Blue board says medium but with my 10.5 burner its a high flying ball but its great. Ive only hit a few titleist and a PING g10 with the V2, they feel like balsa wood to me. I dont like them that much

I would say the same thing WildCatGolfer17 just said. Diamana is smooth. V2 is rough.

There is a huge difference in feel.. The Diamana has a more solid feeling, while the V2 felt like the ball was sticking to the face (Titleist D2).

I have not hit the blueboard but would like to. I have had a V2-76 stiff and I liked it. It had a nice feel to it not too soft but not firm and I could feel a nice kick at impact. I played it in a R7460 and it wasn't the best combo for me too much spin, overall I might have been better off with an X flex. I would try that shaft again in a low spin head. For the money its a good shaft.

My swing speed is right at 100, give or take a mph. I have a CT250 with the V2 stiff in it and it feels like a 2x4 to me. I've never tried a Blueboard so I can't help you there.

Wow, looks like im the first one commenting on liking the V2 better than the BB.

Have tried the BB multiple times, in diff clubs, and never really got along with it too well. Had both White and Redboards as well, but unfortunately never tried them, would like another crack at a whiteboard hopefully.

Loved the V2, its a really stout shaft and feels really stiff, but i just love the feel of a shaft that I feel the head just stays where it is, not whipping all around, but released nicely through impact. I feel it plays pretty similar to my NT Comp.

Thanks for the replies. What about the ball flight and spin comparisons?

The v2 is much lower launching I find, i seemed to get more a of mid-high flight with the diamana and couldnt control spin at all.

Not sure of the actual numbers.

Would that equate to lower spin and launch conditions Dave?
