R7 460 TP

Has anybody played this driver or have any experience with it? I have heard next to nothing about the head or anything really. Thanks!

I tested it for a week, it was a very solid club. Nice look at address, and the ball jumped off the face. Felt very similar to the r7 425 TP, but only has two screws in it.

I like the adjustability of the 425 I got. I would highly recommend it.

I took one for a test drive one week on a golf trip. I actually hit it fairly well, only about 10 yards short of my 905R. I liked the look, the sound, and the shape, but the feel was different from what I'm used to. It had an NV shaft which is all wrong for my swing so that is what I attribute the loss in yardage to.

Believe it or not I never owned a 460 or 460TP. I'd go with Tmag's description since he's a staffer, a pro and you're getting advice from a guy that repeats a swing. I'd imagine it's going to be more forgiving but less workable than the 425. From everything I've read, the R5TP was a better head than the 460TP. Personally, I'd rather look into the SuperquadTP now that prices are dropping.

Not the TP but I do have the R7 460 & to be honest compared to the Burner I think it's garbage.

I met a guy thru a buddy who buys 2nd hand gear from the major retail outlets here. He's a sound guy and lets you take away clubs to demo first. In the last 3 weeks I've hit a multitude of drivers, 3 of which have been TM's.

I've hit Superquad, Burner & R7 460 TP. My avg SS is 109 mph, and my unbiased assessment having not owned a TM since a 580XD would be the 460TP is the longest, SQ is the smoothest and the Burner was just too light for me.

I loved the SQ TP, but was losing 20 yards - it was possibly a loft issue, was hitting 10.5, ball tore off the face but seem to stall, would be interested in shaft suggestions or maybe just a case of demoing the 9.5*
