What would you do?!?!?!?!

So I have been seriously thinking about sending my Scotty away to have it customized (initials, lie changed etc). For about the same amount I would spend on that, actually a little less, I could reshaft and regrip my clubs with Tour Flighted rifles in 5.5 flex. I have been considering this for some time now. I cannot however do both....which route would you go? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!

I'm going to have to look into this Scotty putter.
Seems very popular. Can you guys actually putt with it worth a darn?
As for your question, I would do the reshafting and re gripping ,if its the same price as customizing a putter.

Is redoing your Scotty going to make it putt better? If not then you know what my answer is.

I can putt lights out with my Scotty. Of course I could putt lights out with my Ping ( 1/3 price ) and my $3 spalding. I am a good putter. The custom thing is just, cool IMHO of course.

I love my new scotty I got. I can put down 10ft putts quite often here, I haven't had it on the course yet but I putter better with it than any of my other three putters. As far as what you should do Jim, I would probably go with the shafts just because I think they would probably help your game more.

I would spend the money on the item(s) that stand the best chance at improving your game.

BigJim,

I was going to say reshafting the irons instead of customizing the putter, which is the logical decision.
However, I believe doing whatever your heart leads you to rather than what your head is telling you, once in awhile is actually good for you.
Do whatever will bring you joy, go for it.
