Thread: Callaway CB1 balls any good?

  1. Callaway CB1 balls any good?

Was in Edwin Watts this afternoon and they had logo overruns of the red and blues for $10.99/dz. Reviews seem to be pretty good but are a few yrs old apparently. From what I gathered, red = distance & blue = feel/spin. Are they worth the $11?

Ask yourself this...do you play golf balls for the price?? What do you currently shoot? Is a HX tour going to improve your game more than the CB 1? For $11/dozen I really dont think you can go wrong no matter what you're buying if they're brand new, the logo overrun, big deal! Just means you dont have to put as much effort into marking your ball for identification. Overall, the CB is not a bad golf ball, but it is in no way shape or form a "players" ball with feel.
    What's in the Bag?

It's all currently in the classifieds, including the bag itself.

    New Gear on the way...

The CB1 is an old Top Flight. One of the worst balls I've ever hit, and for good reason.

If you're going cheap, get some D2's or HX Hot. Both are great golf balls for the money. Same with the Srixon TriSpeed.

  4. Thanks Rock, that's exactly what I was looking for. I play the D2 Feel right now anyway. I'll just stick with what's working.
