Question for Scotty experts...

I have a Newport 2 Studio Stainless putter now, the older model without the insert. I have been considering getting the Newport 2 in the Pro Platinum finish. What is the difference between the two? Is there an advantage to the Pro Plat finish? I like the Newport style and am quite happy with my putter now, just curious as to the Pro Platinum finish.

SC stainless model are milled from a single block of 303 stainless steel.
Pro Platinum model are milled from a block of carbon steel and finished with the PP, to give it a more crisp and precise feel when putting, it's a very durable finish but nevertheless, an added finish which will need care and eventually will need refinishing. It was a tour only finish untilSC mad it available in 2001 ( could be a year ealier than that ).
