Scotty find at my local driving range

As Scotty deals go I guess this was reasonable, as a quality made piece of golf equipment I feel it is above average, as superior performance goes for the last week in nightly carpet putting practice...priceless. This feels like THE ONE. Even more desparate than my driver search has been my putter woes; I know...it's the guy doing the putting but this one just fits...

Any Scotty guys know approx. what year this one was manufactured? I was trying to get info on it but didn't come up with much except that it may be an early version of the Newport 2.5 SS.

I have that same putter in the Newport 2 version and love it. It was released somewhere around 2001 or 2002 its hard to tell which though, both model years look exactly the same to me on the Scotty website. This is the version that came out before the Newports started being made with the insert and IMHO feel much better. Its a great putter...

One of my customers cnc's the putters for Cameron. It's crazy seeing all those putters in different stages from raw blanks to the masterpiece that they are.

Thanks for the info...and thats what it's going to be, an everyday player

I bought it with the idea that if I didn't like it, it would be easy to sell; but since I am making putts one after the other on my carpet course...I would find it very dificult to sell. Love the feel and ball roll, too.
