Yeah Top_Flight since you're a kid I won't go into that one.

I've hit the hybrid twice and its pretty sweet, but it's seems to be a really high launching set up. I didn't really look at the shaft specs. because it was a bundle from golfsmith. With that coupon PA posted it was $59 for everything you saw there.

Im already thinking of reshafting it. I'll give it a few rounds but from the range it was a lot higher flight than the Bafflers.

With the weights set at neutral I'm hitting a nice 5 yard draw, I'm going to play with the weights at the range tomorrow.

Yeah thanks I'm glad I'm a kid or I would never hear the end of that one. Sounds like it preforms just as good as it looks.

Hitting hybrids high isn't always a bad thing - it's tough to hit a low 4 iron and stick it to a hard green with spin alone - I think there's something to be said for bombing in into the green from 200+ yrds so it sticks to the putting surface regardless of how hard the green is

if you intent to just tee off with it and get some run on hard fairways, sure, go for lower, but thinking about how you get around the course could help

I understand that completely and it's not such a bad thing. It's just a lot higher than the Cobra's. I do like the flight and sound just not the trajectory. Im not going to change anything now. I want to see how it is from the fairway......and of course the rough!

The range at our course uses distance limited balls. They say its about a 10% reduction. I also have never trusted the distances of the flags at the range. The guy that works the range only is a troll. I want to hit some balls on the course and see how it plays with those also.

Hopefully I won't have to use it on the tee box unless my driver and 3wood completely fail me.

Looks like you did a great job. I've got the pieces to build a couple, I'm just a little leery of starting. I'd hate to screw everything up. Maybe this weekend when I've got plenty of time I'll give it a go. Good looking club though.

edit, Oh yeah, GO VOL's

Honestly I was really worried even though it was only $59. It really is a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Thanks for all the compliments I really appriciate them.

Now we wait until........your first head flies off

Don't worry about that. I've never had it happen to me. Just don't half azz anything, and you'll be gold.

Nice work, BTW.

I actually used the tour epoxy from golf smith that my buddy's grandpa had. That stuff sets really quickly, hence the name.

I wouldn't cut corners on something I love. Now at work yeah maybe.

Everybody gives EZ a hard time about the steak knife, but I need to cut a head off the other day and couldn’t find my hack saw and the steak knife worked pretty good.
