Shafts Questions!!!

Ok, first off, my driver met with an untimely demise today, especially with my tournament this weekend. I had to cut across a kinda driveway thing to go to the back nine from 7 cuz there were a few groups on the par 5 7th, there is a "no acess" chain, but u can lift it to get carts under it (they did that for our team as we usually cut off a few holes b4 the time change to get in b4 dark.

So I cut down there today, and lift it over the top, and as i pull the cart through (usually one person drives under, one holds the chain), i lifted it over and hit the pedal, but i left the headcover off my driver and dropped the chain to get it under... And it caught my driver.

ANYWAYS!! Probly guna get the same shaft, if anyone has one cheaper than golfsmith (89.99) that would be lovely. Would like to ask, you guys think I should get a 65-S creation instead? Do you think I could gain a few yards from it over the 85-S NT COMP? Accuracy off the tee definately isnt an issue for me.

Also, saw the price on the FST 115 shafts on golfworks, wondering how those would play in comparison to S300s?

Hopefully Rock, Lyle, Rory and all you shaft experts can shed some light on those two questions for me!

broke your driver by running it into a chain? that's a new one to me
if you're going to reshaft the same, I would think it'd be cheaper to just ho a new one instead of reshafting the bore-through no?

I haven't read a lot about the FST 115s yet, but I bought the Pro 115s - should go into the irons tomorrrow or Saturday

There is a seller on ebay with the comp NT's for 53.99 BIN. I think I remember you saying you don't use Pay-Pal that may be a problem. Anyway the guy has a ton of positive feedback.

I havn't bought anything from him though.

It's .335 but 65g. They may have 85 but the only ones I see in the store are 65g and its $55 BIN.

Here's the link to the store if you wanted to ask if they had any 85's. Sorry.

Is the seller vector golf i think? With the special ferrule and spine/flo?

Thats who I got the 85-S i had already. Already sent him a msg inquiring, will probly just go the route of 65 since im already pretty accurate off the tee.

Great seller btw!

Golf Works has the 85-s for 69.99. You have to search for it on the site. Here's a link.

Ahhh.. Nice, thx JArmour.

Great... Now I have to decide if I want to go back to the same shaft i've had tons of success with, or to the 65 model where I can potentially add a few yards and a bit of carry which i could really use...

grr... knowing me, im guna end up getting both

No problem. I book marked both the ebay seller and the Golf works page with the NT and have been looking at them everyday.

Im sure it wont be long until I buy one.

Then I'll have to get a head to put it in.....hmmmm

You want a hibore xl tour?

Im thinkin try the 65 out, talked with Rock and he made some good points in the arguement for trying it. At very worst, i can resell it for most of the price and go back to the 85.

I was serious about the hibore

Hahaha. Nah the one I have is in my young golf career the best driver I have played to this date.

I was thinking more a long the lines of a 425tp or something I can pick up from GG for a few bucks.

I've got a 65-S sitting here if you are interested. It's only 43.5 inches though so not sure it would play to length in a Tittly without a blindbore.

Shaft with the extension (I bought one for it from golfsmith, I'll even put it in if you want) and a new Lamkin Crossline with the blue cap to match shaft... $40 shipped.
