Bridgeston e6??

Has anybody played this ball? I was looking at them the other day and the box said they, I think, designed to have more distance and less feel/spin. I think they are a 3 piece ball and the price is pretty good...how do they stack up. I like a ball that feels good around the green for chipping and putting, distance isnt really an issue for me either. Thanks!

Excellent ball. I got my only ace with one. Not "quite" as long as some off the tee but you won't even notice.

Best $25 ball on the market, in my opinion anyway. I like the feel off my irons and they spin good around the green. I didn't really lose anything off the tee, moving from the HX Tour.

This was my ball of choice last year. Hard to find anything better in the 25-35 range.

It's what I've been playing for a while now and I love them.

Easily the best low to mid prices ball on the market. The e5 I though was a piece of shit, the 36 was excellent however. Long, felt great, and was good around the greens. If I wasnt hooked on pro-v1's I would play these.

I think they outperform almost any ball at that price point, the one exception may be the Burner TP ball. I think they have more feel and spin than the HX Hot and the Srixon Tri Speed.

Another vote in their favor - for me they feel and play the most like premium balls of any ball in the $25 price range.

(I *do* have a couple of sleeves of HX Hot Bites I'm itching to get out and use though...)

Yep. The E5 was garbage.

For a few bucks more, the URC or URS are a better choice IMO, but I don't lose that many balls.

The e6, last years model is on sale everywhere around here for $19.99 a box. It is being replaced with the new e6 plus. I haven't tried the new one yet, but I'm stocking up on last years e6's.

It's a good golf ball, I have not played the new e6+, it's suposed to be even better.
Played the Topflite Gamer ( also a 3 piece ball ) last week and it's a very nice golf ball, I'd rate it slightly edged over the e6.

e6 is great. I either play Pro V1 or e6. Score about the same.

Curious to hear your opinion on the Hot Bite. I found a Hot out the course, and thought it was pretty nice. So I bought some Hot Bites, and gave them a try. My opinion? Blecchhh!

I really liked the HX Hot and always carried 3 or 4 in my bag for days when I was struggling to keep the ball going straight or just needed more distance on a particular course. But as someone who likes to fly the ball up to the hole and stop it quickly on pitches and chips I really couldn't play that ball regularly.

I'll report back when I try the Hot Bites once the weather and the greens improve a little bit. I tried the HX Pearls last year, hoping they'd spin a bit more, but thought they were very average. I probably had too high a swing speed for those to make a difference though...
