HiBore XL tour w/Whiteboard

I went and picked it up today and hit it in the shop. Feels solid as all hell. Love the way this thing sets up and nailing it on the screws. I finally got a little appreciation at the shop, manager fired up the launch monitor and let me hit a few. This thing is sick low spin. Try this on for size, 106SS, 13.7* launch angle, 2470 spin!! Can't wait to hit this thing out on the course. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go to the range tomorrow afternoon after work.

BTW, this place, Golfer's Warehouse, is the one I complained about last year charging me to hit a driver on the monitor. I repaid the favor by spending $50 on a putter grip, glove, tees and a dozen Tour Fire balls. Plus last week I bought the Hibore, Ping putter and R7TP to the tune of $275.

Nah, more llike 260 carry. I really want to get to the range tomorrow. Little warm up before I play with Sling on Sunday. He will feel the wrath of the Hibore, unless of course he takes me as a partner, lol.

The spin figs aren't accurate though are they, this caught me out recently, they are 'guessed' by the computer, extrapolated if you liek using the available data. Even the expensive ultra-fast photography monitors suse some form of extrapolation. I swing with neg angle of attack and the last monitor I used kept saying I had 6000 spin, on a Evo/Encore combo, which as low spin a combo as you get. 6000 is a wedge ffs. Monitirs are great for testing your swing speed, see if you are fit, and giving some baisc info to a fitter, but there still aint nothign like watching the ball

260 Ez? I don't know, mine and your swing speeds are the same and I'm getting a more distance than that with my 9.5º with the Matrix in it. I've never had my launch angle or spin rate checked, all I know is on the course I'm driving the green on a 307 yard hole. Not sure why? Maybe the HiBore makes a mockery of the numbers put into the equation.

That or the course yardage is off, 300+ yds is a long assed way.

I agree Wi, it seems like a long way to me also. But I've asked and they swear the yardages are right. Maybe I'm swinging harder on the course than I did on the monitor, who knows? All I know is I'm tickled with the results. When I say I'm driving the green I mean distance wise, I've yet to land one on the actual green. I've peppered it all around and landed one on the front fringe. I've made the promise to myself that as soon as I land one on the green I'm moving back to the tips.

Or is it an extremely elevated tee box? At 1 course I play it's about a 60' drop to the green & supposedly it's 205yds yet I can easily drop it right on the green with a 5w & normally I am nowhere near that distance.
