2i hybrid or 5W

so i'm getting rid of my 2i hybrid. i hook it too much.

so i have 2 choices, i can either go w/ 2i hybrids that are neutral or open face, or go w/ 5W

what should i do? i can hit them both fine, it's just matter of distance/feel. if going to 5w, i'm buying bridgestone j33. i dont know much about hybrids, so please edumacate me. thanks

Hit some hybrids. Test as many as you can.

Then, buy a 5 wood.

Not that I'm biased.

I would, but then you'd never have to look for another FW, so where's the fun in that?

You gonna come play Triggs/some other course when I come down in September?

Hybrids are only hook machines if you hit them like a wood, hit it just like an iron and they do fine.

Back out? Hell, let's get two groups of jokers playing.

If we had 5, I'd go deuce with someone if they'd let us.

The J33 hybrid is a good choice for people that tend to hook hybrids. I like mine a lot and did hook my old TM Rescue

I may have a slightly used J36 hybrid in a few weeks (I would have to at least wait until it hits the market), I think my rep is going to give me one of his demo heads to try out. When we were testing clubs, I hit it straighter than any other one that I have tried, just need to get a decent shaft in there.

what was your decision to go w/ 5W instead of 2I?

how do you like your j33 woods?
I was actually thinking about putting a x100 in hybrid/5W.

Many if not most hybrids hook because they are aimed at duffers so are heel weighted, buy a proper one, like a Sonartec MD

I agree with Dave (which is worrying). Try a Hybrid aimed at a low handicapper. The 3 to try would be the Sonartec, Cobra Baffler pro and Cally FT hybrid (in Neutral or Fade).
