New titleist wedges - which to prefer?

Hi, I am going to buy new wedges for this season and am sure to buy the titleist. But I cannot figure out which ones to buy? Any tips on this?
Most important for me is a good feel, spin and workability.

Thanks guys, would be great with some input

I wouldn't neccessarily retrict myself to titleist, the scratch, nak's are also great wedges...

if you want something special from titleist there will be apparently a limited run of TVD (tour van design) Spin Milled Vokey wedges pretty soon, they will be expensive but they look beautiful, think they'll be available in oil can and satin...so if money is not an issue I'd keep my eyes open

These sound beautiful, do you have a link to them? Do you know when they'll be for sale? In Europe?

I don't think they will be on general sale...Check the titleist website and not sure if its true but read somewhere that bob vokey is launching his own site and they might be on sale from there

ok, great thanks!

One question about the "usual" titleist wedges: there are two kinds of vokey wedges on the titleist homepage, the 200 serîes wedges and the spin milled wedges; who are the target groups for the different kinds? I don't quite get the idea of the 200 series, when the spin milled have more resistanse, larger volume, and are also tour proven..Am i missing something her?

you'll get more spin on the ball with the spin milled wedges - the rougher surface imparts more spin on the ball
the 200 series are cheaper because they don't need to take the same time to mill the grooves on a CNC machine
If you're a player who relies on spin to score, you probably want the spin milled - if you're playing a low spin distance ball, you'll probably be fine with the 200 series
I wanted the option of a bit more spin so I got one of these CX Micro wedges

The other thing with the spin milled wedges is that they only go up to 54*. The idea was that the original 200 series wedges already put a tremendous amount of spin on the ball (I'm not very good, but have backed up balls with my 52* non-SM Vokey) when using a full swing, but the spin milled wedges in higher lofts mean you get the same amount of spin from the rough or when taking chips and half-swings as you would from a longer swing with the non-SM wedge. That's why the 200 series goes all the way up to 48*, but the SMs start at 54*.

Sandy
How did I get my 56º? They go up to 60º. Unless you meant by going "up" they don't go lower then 54º? They come in different bounces of 54º, 56º, 58º and 60º.

Depends on where you're standing - if you're a 60* wedge you might be looking up to the 54* wedge and dreaming that one day you can hit the ball as far as it does...
