Thread: Trying to decide on my set make up..

  1. Trying to decide on my set make up..

I currently hae the set in my sig.. Looking to do some changes.

I had a previous post about 3 wood and driver and all that good stuff, and decide to keep my driver and my 3 wood.im looking to get rid of my 19* degree hybrid and my 4 iron. i do not hit either one very consistently. So im tryingto decide what I should do.

I hit my 3 wood extremely accurate and bvery consistent at around 215 yards. I hit my 5 iron around 175-180- Im looking to get something in ther ethat would fill the gap.. I was thinking of going with a 5 wood same model as I have now and maybe 21/24* hybrid-

    what do you guys think??

  2. Thats a very small gap between your 5 iron and your 3 wood. You sure that your distances are correct?

If those distances are correct, id say go with a 5 wood, and dont even worry about another hybrid.

Have you tried playing with the ball position on the hybrid? They are meant to be played in the middle of the stance, with a descending blow like an iron. Most people figure to play them like a wood, and then dont hit it well.

  3. Gap is small porbably becasue i dont get enough distance out o my 3 wood, my driver is going about 240 total.. thinking my 3 wod should go further than 210-215.. I almost never miss my target with this 3 wood though...

I think we had a discussion the other day about shafts for my 3 wood and I decided to stay with what I got..

A 25 yard gap between the driver and 3 wood isnt big at all. If you really are hitting your driver 240, i wouldnt expect any more than 215 out of your 3 wood.

  5. Then thats cool- Ive been measuring all of my shots with my gps lately and as long as I make good contact on my driver i get 245ish. my 9 hole average was 231. still getting used to the new driver though.

so just a 5 wood.. how much of a yeardage gap should i see between my 3 and 5 wood?

Just based on your yardages with your other clubs, id say a 5 wood would go about 195-200 for you. It should put a club smack dab in the middle of your 3 wood and 5 iron.

But i still recommend that you try toying around with the ball position when hitting your hybrid. I(and many others) have found that simply moving it a little back in your stance and hitting it more like an iron can improve shots with it 10 fold.

  7. I thinkill go pick up a 5 wood... i have tried playing around with the hybrid- I get very heavy draws on it or sometimes hooks..

i was actually just at the range with it and was having the same issue with it. but the 3 wood hit beautifully...

  8. something you should not miss-ghd

The lovely shoes not only show the different mood , even represent different attitude of life, love or hate, happy or sad.ffice:office" />
No matter what feeling you have now ,there is always a pair of shoes suitable for you!!!

I first knew in a film, but I don't remember the name already.
I love the style very much, especailly the eye-catching looks it give.
And I wish to have a as well.
However, as a non-so-rich person who wants to have ed hardy, it is better to order from , where my boyfriend ordered.
Anyway, I am so happy with these
