5 New Toys!!!

I've purchased 5 new toys and have 4 of them ready primed to hit the course this afternoon.

I'm just waiting on the rombax to arrive from across the pond and I'm all set with the best 'squad' of clubs & shafts I've ever managed to assemble. Will report back after my round and post a few pictures later!

(Edit;- This is not taking into account the 2 new pairs of Shoes I've ho'd in the last 2 weeks)

That does it! I'm petitioning the Oxford English Dictionary to add the word MG to its list. Definition? See "Ho".

I don't suppose you can find the tracking number? USPS use Parcel Force this end and they don't attempt delivery until import duties/VAT has been paid. They normally send a letter to tell you the package is at the local office and payment must be made before delivery or you can pay in person if you go down to collect. A couple of times I've tracked parcels and via the tracking number knew they were at the local office but the letter never arrived meaning without the tracking number i wouldn't have known the package was waiting for me.

I used first class mail, so I didn't get a tracking number. I've never had a problem with first class before, but maybe I need to use it for those packages going over the pond from now on.

4 of the new toys.

Toy one & two.

Toy one is a Diamana BlueBoard 83 X-Flex. I've slotted this into my Cobra L4V and it feels great, pick a target and fire. Only played 36 holes with it but boy is it heavy and the flight is a little lower than with the standard shaft. It's been VERY windy the past 2 days so I'm not really sure how the distance has been affected. Toy 2 is a Diamana BlueBoard 63 S-Flex, this happens to be attached to a Titty 907 D1 a driver I've always wanted to try. I played 18 holes with it today side by side with the Cobra & I can't split them yet. Too windy to really get a true idea of which is the better combo for me.

Question;- Does anybody know difference between these two shafts in terms of they're both Blueboards (i think) but one is a lot more metalic looking than the other and has flowers around the shaft below the grip? Can't see it on there website?

EDIT;- Clugnut, Don't worry about it we'll give it some more time and hopefully it will arrive in the next week or so. I've not got a head to install it into anymore

Got my eye on this for it...... COBRA SPEED PRO S 9.5 DEGREE Bargain!!! on eBay, also, Golf Clubs, Golf, Sporting Goods (end time 22-Apr-08 13:01:30 BST)

Toy 3 & 4.

I found these and the Titty D1 at my favorite Aladins Cave of a golf shop in Chester. I was looking around the putter section (looking for a Scotty Bullseye) when I happened across these two putters for £19.99 each!!! The 1st is a Ben Hogan Bettinardi. I nearly got one of these 3 or 4 years ago and it was price at £179. It's in good shape no big dings but it's 37" long so will need cutting down to 34" & it needs a dam good clean, my friday night project!

The other is a Spalding TP Mills classic milled blade 34". I played with this today & fell in love with it straight away. I canned a good 15 footer on the 1st and my putting was very good all day with a 45 footer on 10 being the highlight of the round. I've been struggling with the flat stick since giving Dave grief about high MOI putters so this was a welcome relief.

For the prices i paid for these two little beut's they will both be staying in my Squad and the TP mills has shifted the Napa as my gamer for now.

Toy 5 is at the Post Office they were at lunch when I called to collect it and then I went for a round so couldn't get it in the afternoon. I will be picking her up in the morning.

Sigh...you knew the day would come. I'm amazed the Napa stayed in his bag for this long.

A tub of Brasso and a little elbow greese. I've also cut it down to 34" and put a new Golf Pride Red/Black Multi Compound putter grip on it.
