Thanks Rock...

For turning me on to these shafts, myOstrich Golf Clubmakers

and this seller. I paid for 3 shafts and wedges thru paypal on tuesday latenight and they arrived at my house on friday. Installed them in the wedges on Saturday and played on sunday. Couldnt be happier with the feel of my wedges now and frankly am very impressed with myostrich golf. Someone mentioned a handwritten thank you note and sure enough, on my copy of the invoice was a handwritten thank you. Am going to gladly do more biz with them again.

Thanks for pointing out these shafts rock, saved me about $15 which paid for my grips. Couldn't be happier. My only complaint with FST, no .355 taper in regular iron shafts...

how do they compared to regular wedge flex shafts in terms of feel, accuracy, flight?

you can always have those silly taper heads reamed out to .370 - it opens up a ton of shaft options

glad to hear you like the hi-revs

I have cleveland wedges and they all had the TT wedge flex shafts. WHen I put the hi rev shafts in (which are basically Rifle spinners at a better price according to Rock) the clubs felt more balanced. By that I mean they went from feeling very head heavy to a more even feel from butt to head. Flight stayed about the same, maybe a litte higher on full swings. WHere they really performed though was on less than full shots, 1/2 and 3/4 swings...just money. Great feeling shafts...

What were you coming from before (in your irons)?

I had Rifles in my 30's, and they were solid, but a bit high for my liking. I was losing distance that i new I had in the bag.

So far, with the two wedges that I have hit, I was really hitting them well and solid. Perfect flight, great spin and outstanding control. While distance was my goal, if I have all of those and similar distances, I'll still be more than happy.

I'm hoping to get out next week for some grass time with them.

Do you feel that same way about the Spinners? They seem kind of high to me. I like it though - the courses around here are all pretty well shielded from wind by tall pines, so that high trajectory from my wedges doesn't get me in wind trouble. Since I can't spin the ball much, it really helps me stick the ball since it's coming down steep. Shortens my distance a bit, but hey - they're wedges. It doesn't shorten it so much as to leave me any nasty distance gaps.

If the FSTs are similar to Spinners I'll definitely use them - I'm digging everything I'm hearing about FST.

I'd like to echo the sentiment about myOstrichGolf - really nice place, I'm glad to see them doing well and hope they continue to do so. I ordered a pile of random stuff from them and 2 days after ordering got an e-mail from an actual person (rather than some automated crap) saying they were waiting on one head but they expected to get it that afternoon and would ship my stuff the next day. True to their word, it all shipped the next day and the invoice had the hand written note apologizing for the delay and thanking me for my business. That's the kind of people you keep coming back to.

I had spinners in those very wedge heads last year. Crazy high and loads of spin. I then switched them out to regular Rifle 5.5's and lowered ballflight a tad, just not enough of what i wanted.

I don't have the HiREV FST's, just the Pro 115's in there and they're exactly what I want.

The HiRev does come in .355t and .370, which is sweet.
