FW Shaft...

I am looking for a great FW wood shaft. I tried the blueboard and its not bad but has a tendency for moonballs. Am thinking of just going back to my old standby of the Pro Force gold 75 or maybe a V2 75 but am always open to suggestions. I like a mid ball flight in my woods and the blueboard is perfect for me in my Driver...Is there a Diamana that would be better suited for FW wood (red or whiteboard?) at this point I will take any suggestions...Thanks as always!!!

The Evolution in my 3W is super stable and provides a very piercing flight. They're right around 70g so that may be on the light side for you in a FW but you can find pulls pretty cheap so it may be at least worth a try.

Golfworks has a sale on the Comp NT 83g. I picked up two in stiff today. They are $45 each.

I'll second the Evolution. Extremely solid as a FW shaft.

I'll second the CompNT... and it's an 85 not 83 . It's perfection for a 3W shaft for me.

My bad you are right it's 85. I looked at the tip size and just threw the "3" in there.

By the way Ez did you get that headcover?

I installed a 65g Comp NT in my R5 TP. It was so sick. It just barely edged out the Blueboard I had in my Burner TP (launch angle was higher with the Comp NT).

I was so pleased that I ordered 2 Graf. Comp NT shafts on Monday. 65g for the FT-i and an 85g for my R5 fairway wood.

Should have the shafts by Friday. Will report back with how the FW works with the Comp NT 85g shaft.

evolution is the best fairway shaft I have tried, so stable and I get an excellent trajectory.
