FST iron shafts. What's the verdict?

I'm think I'm going to do a TLT set with the Evolutions I bought from Chemboy. Money is a little tight, so I was thinking now is the perfect time to try the FST's, since they seem the most reasonable. Anyone have experience? Rock? How do they feel? Distance? What series should I be looking at?

My 5 iron distance is 190 max, mid high trajectory.

Hard to say without seeing your swing, but I can say that these are superb shafts. I can't see myself playing anything but them from here on in. Deadly accurate, longer than anything I've played and feel superb in the Nak heads.

For the bucks, I say do it. It'll cost you half of a set of S300's and 1/3 the cost of Rifles.

Distance is overrated. At the end of the day, it's what's on the scorecard that counts...

So what's your swing like, Rock? Slow, moderate, fast? Short, medium, long? Smooth, violent?

I'll try to get a swing video posted.

I'd consider myself smooth, but powerful. Moderate tempo. Distances for me would be:

PW -125
7I - 160
3I -215

I primarily play a draw with all my clubs. I'm playing the FST Pro 115's.

I'm pretty similar, except I do not hit a three iron that far. Maybe after TLT, if Lyle answers his PM's.

I think I might just go with the Pro 115's. The price is just too good. $50 bucks for a set? That's awesome. Screw the Nippons.

50$ for a set of these FST shafts?

I should try some of these with some snake eye blades

Ha!! I was less than two mouse clicks away from getting some FST shafts for those heads on several occasions, I just never pulled the trigger; pretty damn funny.

Good luck and let me know how they play!

i'm a big fan of the FST shafts too - I've added over a club and a half since switching from dynalite gold SLs (not sure how much is the shaft vs how much is TLT) but I couldn't be happier
I used FST pro 115's in mine and the regular FST 115s in my sister's irons - both are nice
throw some ProSoft inserts or backer rod in and they feel absolutely fantastic
for the price, you can't go wrong
only downside is the cheesy shaft labels

Anyone got some pics of the shafts instead of stock pics?

I'd probly end up takin the labels off.

For the FST Pro 115's, picture Rifles without labels....or any other quality stepless shaft for that matter - normal chrome finish, nothing crazy

Yep. Without the label, it's a Rifle.

Until you hit it.
