Thread: Shoes: Adidas or Nike

  1. Shoes: Adidas or Nike

Hey everyone I'm looking to do a shoe upgrade because I'm not overly happy with what I have now. So I've pretty much narrowed it down to either the Adidas Tour 360 LTD or the Nike Air Tour TW 8.5.

The Adidas I have a great deal on and the Nike's can be had pretty cheap these days so is anyone have any input? Or better yet has anyone actually played a round in both?

And to everyone who is bound to yell "Try Ecco!" well I have and they flat out don't fit my oddly shaped foot =)

Wow, 4 pairs you must really like them because they aren't cheap! Thanks for your thoughts. One thing I have heard complaints of though is that the soles feel very hard and some pairs went out defected and the spikes would push thru the sole. Have you experienced this?

  5. Well since the subject came up which spikes do you prefer with the 360s? The pulsars or the stingers?

Haha, love the avatar! I think the technology in the ReelFit is, as far as I can tell, great, but I'm not overly fond of the look.

  11. I bought a pair of Adidas last year and I'm wearing my 3yr. old FJ's now instead. I actually have 2 pairs of Adidas and one is practically new, wore them like 5 times. Problem? They leak like a sieve. I'm tired of having wet feet after a few holes. Even just a little morning dew and my socks are wet. The FJ's? I could walk through a puddle up to the bottom of my pants and they stay dry. Looking for the new Dryjoy Tech's now.

  13. I don't have the Tour model. I can't remember the name but they look like the Tours but cost like $60 at Dick's. Then the Climalite's are the other pair. Both are comfortable, no issues there, it's just the leakage. Unless it hasn't rained for a week I get wet feet with them.

  14. I can't speak for the Adidas, 'cause I've never tried them, but I have had a couple pairs of Nikes and they're NOT good. Both pairs of Nikes didn't last a season, and since I live in Connecticut our season is about 3 weeks
