Shaft pull question

I am looking at this V2 shaft-I will post link below-that was pulled from a Titleist 906F FW wood. Looks like it was a bore thru. If I install this into my TEE head will it cause problems? Is the area thats prepped to much? the ferrule may not cover all that up, am I correct?
