Grafalloy Comp NT

Thinking of picking up the COmp NT 85 for my TEE 15*. I know alot of people on here are fans-fill me in! How does it play, ball flight, true to flex etc! Thanks!

I had a Comp NT 65 in a driver and liked the shaft. Good feel with a mid launch for me. I ended up hitting the ball higher than I prefer, but that was more due to the loft of the head than the shaft. I found the Comp NT to play a bit stiffer than stated flex and ended up with an "R" flex rather than stiff. It does not play as stiff to flex as the Grafalloy Blue, but it was more of an R+ than a true full flex stiffer. I did not freq it out so someone like Lyle may be able to provide you better numbers, but that the way it seemed to work out for me.

I had, and have, a Comp NT 65X in my r7. Though he's not in play anymore, it was a great shaft. Ball flight and all that seemed about prime...for me...

I have the 85-s in my hibore 3 wood. It's a great shaft feels smooth at 43". It is pretty stout but that's good for me because it takes all the abuse my swing dishes out.

It's a lower flight than the NVS I had in the hibore before but that's what I was looking for. When I say lower it's not real low, the NVS would balloon on me.

I still keep a 65g R-flex and S-flex around. Great shaft. Pretty much everything Tim said. Mid-launch (although I would describe it as mid-high launch,) very stable, good feel.

One of these days I'll reuse the R-flex, but the S-flex is just a bit stout for my 94mph swing speed.

I have the 65R in my G5 and would agree with Tim and Eracer...just a good, solid shaft that should not have been discontinued.

If you cant find the NT try the Grafalloy Platinum. They are quite similar

I got the NT for 44 at Golfworks a little while ago. You have to actually use the search engine to find them on the site though.
