How to remove scuff from Driver ?

I lent my new club to a friend the other day on the T Box.....

Looked like he had it T'd low enough not to worry.......

He hits it like a Fine Wedge........

Nice little scuff's on top of the new head....... 3 little lines that when the sun hit's it just right........

Any suggestions on how to buff them out or are they going to be permanent?

Another life lesson learned the hard way......

T.I.A.

Sounds like your buddy just bought himself a driver!

It will probably buff out, if not it doesnt hurt the playability of the club unless it distracts you that much during your setup...then its time to buy a new one!

Great Idea about wax..... I'll give that a try!!! Something Low Grit......????

First New set of clubs ever...... I can learn to live with it but the dang thing works so well it didn't deserve what I put it through by lending it out......

LOL.......

LOL It is a new one.... 3rd round on it......

Fella is just about to have a new born and is on a thin budget.... And he's a good friend..... Or I'd of threw that comment at him.... LOL

The Club plays great.... I've never had such straight shot's..... Nor have had the confidence to work the ball....

It's just when the sun hit's it just perfect.... You can see the three little lines..... I swear they jump out at me and distract me from the center of the club.... Only in the right light though...... Only caused me one bad shot when I first realized it.....

Memories in the backswing are not good......

I've found that goo-gone does a surprisingly good job at removing them because sometimes it's a stubborn scuff of ball cover rather than actual paint damage. Easiest thing to try first, at least.

I have some..... I even used some to clean the sticker Goo off the shafts the other day....

I'll give the Goo Gone 'n' Wax technique a try and report back...... Maybe even a power buff with my rotary tool.....

Cheers
