Need some advice

I have a friend that is wanting me to build him some irons. He is your average ball striker, has a decent swing but doesn't play enough to make good contact all the time. Looking for a GI iron head. I like the looks of the KE4's but golfsmith has some pretty good offerings as well. Any direction would be appreciated.

I recently built 2 sets using head from Hireko Golf and was impressed with the quality, especially for the price
I've also used the KE4 heads - they are quality heads

I really like the Golfsmith P2's that I built over the winter. There has been a lot of positive feedback on them. I have been hearing a lot about the Acer 905XP (?) lately and how forgiving of a head they are.

You'll need to order them. You should order .370 iron ferrules. Whether you order long ones or short ones is up to you, it's a matter of personal taste.

Either way, get a pack of a dozen as they are cheap and you might want to have a couple spares in case you booger one up.

Nah, use epoxy... it adheres better.

Epoxy should be a no brainer. Ferrules are needed to finish off the shoulder of the iron head. Some irons don't need them but the ones he bought does.

I think usa1950 was making a joke and I was just wondering if the ferules came with the heads.
