The one that has been custom fitted for your swing. For me that continues to be the Wishon 949MC that I had made for me two years ago. Tried all sorts of drivers today and I really wanted to pull the trigger on one but my club guy said, "you hit that driver too good to warrant me building you a new one." I went home sad, but happy at the same time.

I'm talking about a starting place. Fitted is a given.

I will say the Cobra LV4, not the longest club I have seen but I have yet to see anyone spray one around.

I'm sure some (ok maybe most) will argue with me but I am constantly amazed at how forgiving my 907D2 is. The ball just finds a way to get out there at a decent distance and straighten itself on poor shots off the toe or heel. I've actually tried most drivers and have yet to be as impressed with its forgiveness - especially for a Titleist.

I thought my Sumo2 was automatic but there was so much spin I got little roll. The G10 is just as straight without the noise and square shape and (for me) 10-20 yards longer (conservatively).

Of all the drivers I have hit. Sumo--5900?? the square one. Forgiving but the R7 425/quad TP series and the R5 TP distance/ forgiveness combo is tops for me now.

the sumo just went straight. For me lacked pop. Maybe the stock shaft was not right for me. But very straight. Had to lay a very bad swing on it to move it off line.
