Vintage Putter Mystery

I've had this putter for about 20 years. It used to belong to my father, and his father before that. I am not sure exactly when my father acquired it, but I would guess late-sixties. It has no markings on it what-so-ever, so I have no idea what it is, or who made it. I don't really need to know, I'm just curious.

Any have any ideas, or have (seen) something similar?

Thanks.
