Limey install

Just bought a UL680 for my hybrid (only 34 bucks brand new) hopefully will arrive next week, is it standard to install the limeys with the graphics facing down?

Hmmm

Either straight up or straight down! I've sought advice from several and heard conflicting views. I think there should be a mark at the butt end which shows which way up (or down).

Isn't the simplest option to have it spine aligned ?

one more question...I just realised I bought the 680 which is an iron shaft as the hybrid was way too light...this one weighs 95g which is about right but only measures 40 inches....will this be long enough to play with a 19' hybrid??

The Limey's are supposedly spine aligned with the label up. Or so the web site says. And I've got the 580 in my hybrids and it plays fine.

I recently ho'd a Jesse Ortiz H4 25* as a 4 iron replacement, the shaft length of these clubs was specifically made shorter to promote greater accuracy. The H4 shaft is 39.5, the H2 19* comparable to yours is 40.5. It certainly gives me greater control, no harm in trying it..........

In my experience with Gramans, the only shaft I hated with a a passion was the UL680. Loads of spines everywhere, soft to flex and zero performance.

I hope your luck is better than mine.

Of course. You'll never know if it's up your alley unless you do.

standard length for the 19' hybrid is 41.5, I'll probably give it a shot playing it at 40, otherwise I can always stick an extension on the bastard...
