Comparing Prolaunch red vs Proto?

Anyone play these 2 shafts in a regular flex? Reading the specs on the 2 websites they seem to be similar, weights are right there at 62 grams, length is the same, ball flight is supposed to be low, etc etc.

Going to be interesting to see how the proto plays in the 13º Burner, club will be delofted to 12º. Whereas the Prolaunch is in the 9.5º TM R7 425 TP club. I cannot wait to see what the difference is going to be in distance, control, ball flight & pattern, etc.

I think Manchester Golfer has had both these shafts but not in reg flex. I could have gotten the G10 with the ProLaunch Red. But I've always had better luck with mid-flex (mid launch) instead of high flex (low launch).

If the 425TP doesn't work out for you, keep me in mind for the head. I'd like to try one with a Speeder or Whiteboard. FWIW I think both are fairly stiff in the tip but the bendpoint is lower in the VS, making it launch a little higher.

EZ, I already know that TP will work beautifully. Really was only interested in picking up a head & was going to install the proto into it, but for basically the same price as some folks wanted just for the head, I got it with a pretty good shaft. Figured, why not? So will have 2 new club configurations to play with.
