Cleveland HiBore XL in my cart...

At tgw.com right now, price comes up as $134.89 once you add it to your cart, advertised price is $149.88... I have the Fit-on Gold shaft chosen, stiff and 10.5 degrees of loft...

I am currently playing an Adams Redline 9.5* with the Fujikura stock Stiff shaft...

I tend to hit a low trajectory on my good drives, control is an issue...

I am really tempted to hit the "buy" button, just wondering what some might think of the HiBore as specced here as an upgrade to what I am currently playing...

Thanks!

The XL is a wonderful head. The stock shafts are crap tho, IMO.

Swingspeed? It's either 107 or 127. Depends how pissed off I am from the last hole...

I've got a 9.5º HiBore XL with a UST Proforce V2 HL R-flex shaft I'll sell you for $120.00. Crystal clean. Not a mark on it. Includes headcover.

The only reason I'm selling it is that I bought an XL with 10.5º of loft, since I tend to flight the ball pretty low.

You can't go wrong with the XL. I've tried most every driver known to man kind and I keep coming back to the XL. I've yet to try the Tour version, but I will eventually.

Let me check with my son Eracer. He is looking for a new driver, he wants a 10.5º but I'll ask if he'd be interested.

I bought a 8.5 XL Tour and I absolutely fell in love with it. It has a smaller head than the regular XL which was good for me since I cannot stand big driver heads. I also have a history of major slices but have recently been drawing the ball. The tour version is a 3* open face and I have yet to slice it. Very stout club and glad I bit on it when I did. Got mine for 130 shipped a month ago from a pro shop on ebay.

As rock said, the stock shafts are terrible. So when you get that thing you are gonna want to reshaft it.

If you dont mind spending a bit extra $$ to reshaft it, then id say go ahead. What i might do is check on ebay for one with a upgraded shaft, and then make a new post here asking if those shafts specs would fit you.

The ProLaunch Blue is pretty stout, but if you can bring the swingspeed it's a really good shaft. Should help your control problems, for sure.
