Need help with Driver

Hi guys, it's been long time since I last posted here but now I need your help/inputs.

I'm currently using nike sq tour 9.5 degree Aldila NV 65S 45" driver. I'm getting ave around 240-250 drives but when I catch a good one, around 280. I was thinking about perhaps swapping out the current shaft for a regular flex ? or would change to a different type of shaft be better ?

sssmokin put a UST ProForce V2 (reg) in his and it's a "bomber"...

Shafts are personal. What works for one person won't for another. Might get some numbers off a launch monitor (ball speed, spin, launch angle, swingspeed etc) and the guru's in here could give some better advice.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?


I play a stiff and swing a little over 100mph, I can play a regular but tend to pull a lot of drives but have hit some serious bombs with a regular flex.

I would like to add about another 15 to 20 yards to my drive without having to swing harder so I was wondering if it's better to go with regular flex or perhaps a lower launching shaft.

I think I'll take warebird's advice and goto the launch monitor. The last time I was there, they told me it was perfect but that was a golfsmith and I'm not sure I can fully trust those guys.
