Wait a minute--we're not even having this conversation on this thread. It's on the one Jeff started. You're just messing with my head. And that's not much of a challenge right nos.

No capitalization. No carriage returns. Unreadable.

Feel free to "type the way you talk". When you talk, you DO capitalize the word "I". You DO put a SPACE (or better, TWO) after a period when you end a sentence. Your conjunctions DO have apostrophes.

Spelling is very minor. Phonics is key. But I know that French books have paragraphs. They have capitalization at the beginning of sentences. They have periods at the end of the same sentences.

I thought Harry put it very eloquently. Much more cordial than anything I have seen on any message board that gets a non-decipherable poster. But to come back in with the attitude, and the same terrible text, what can you do?

If you are taking the time to post, you must feel you have something to say. Something to add to the topic. Then to type it in the way you have, it is basically opening your mouth with mumble, mush-mouth garbage. Like listening to the kid with the hat over his eyes on Fat Albert. I think his name was Mush-Mouth come to think of it.

Not a really politically correct nickname for a kid with a serious speach impediment.

I am totally off topic. Sorry.
dude are you really so slow in the head as o not be able to make it out...im not a novelist why would i give a shit about sentence structure...jesus sakes lighten up

Check out this link. Should save you a couple keystrokes.

The Ellipsis

In fact, I would recommend looking at the rest of that site; it's quite informative.

I like to type so its easy enough to read, but I'm not gonna spend 20 minutes reforming my train of thought posts into a nice stry line. I try to capitalize at the start of a sentance, and use the right puntuation, but there is only so much that you can do. its the internet for christ's sake!

I've bitten my tongue as long as I could. Just can't stand it any longer. ::removing gloves; rolling up sleeves::

At the risk of crossing threads, perhaps we need an English language requirement on these message boards. Until then, this young man could use a translator:

Maybe if I throw a "said" in there, I'll sound like a lawyer. Notice I never learned to spell.

I cannot distinguish between French and English, but be impressed that I started with a T, rather than a D.

Lousy public schools where I grew up, and I didn't pay attention anyway.

Even though I'm Canadian and have been exposed to French, I've never heard of diacriticals.

I simply don't understand grammar or sentence construction. And I really don't care.

I read that entire thread, top to bottom. I was hoping to see this young man's question answered. I want my 5 minutes of life back.

Anyway, to the OP, you can buy these new sets for 2008 from Top Flite (made by Callaway). The XL set is a 15 piece set. It retails for $199. The other set is an XL 5000 set with 18 pieces. This set retails for $299. Either set is a good upgrade to your dad's hippy clubs. Also, being that you won't fully adapt to a big box set of clubs, I wouldn't spend the full $600 on that. No way are you going to utilize the original set as a whole. You will want a driver, add hybrids, change out irons, replace putter. By the Top Flite XL 15 piece set for $200 and spend the other $400 on upgrades, shoes, balls, tees, and lessons.

Shoot dude...the first 21 posts were completely on topic...thats about 20 posts further than 99% of threads get on here...

And i believe the OP said "thank you all for helping me" or something to that effect in the 21st post of this thread, which means it is now open for jacking.

Yeah you pieced him a set. I thought his initial post was wanting a complete set like a boxed set, which is usually what beginners flock to. Not trying to undermind you, just knew about those Top Flite sets. If I were just getting into the game, I'd be all over them. Sorry for the lost respect, I didn't know I had any here.
