Today started off as any normal day, I left home with intentions of running to a few places and coming home. Unfortunatly it didn't go as planned. On my drive around town I happened to pass a local retailer, ANNUAL INVENTORY SELL-OFF the sign read... I had no need to go in, but I was shaking so badly and before I knew it I had a front row parking space at the store. With still no reason to be there.
Walking in was my first mistake, YES putters were at the door for $98. I have one walk on! Cleveland wedges were $99, but I kept walking towards the simulator booths. They had bags of stuff by the booths, I tried the Cobra L4V, and Speed F. I do have a yardage gap at around 190 that I decided on trying some hybrids. I haven't fully bought into the hybrids just yet, I had a heavenwood 3h that I could hit worth sh*t!! So I stuck more to the hybrid irons and there were a couple to choose from. I like the Slingshot 4i they had, but I hit it a lot higher and not quite to my target distance. There were a couple Mizuno's that I tried and liked. I even liked a Titleist driving iron that I tried, which kinda surprised me.
To sum everything up, I walked away spending a little less than $100 for a club that I really liked a lot. Within two swings I was hitting it to 185-190... I'm interested in trying it outdoors now!
