Odyssey putter grip question?

I have an Odyssey XG putter that I would like to extend an inch, and then put the stock grip back on. Is there a method for removing the factory grip without damage? Thanks...

You can try and inject solvent under the grip and work it off, but in most cases, it doesn't work.

For the amount of effort and headache this job entails, I would suggest buying a stock grip for the $9 and just put it on after the extension.
