I am picking up a tour burner tp off of wrx. Great price with an aftermarket shaft so thought i'd try it out. i need a driver and am currently playing my 983k and right now using my friend's r7 425.

But great price on the tb with a rombax 5w06 stiff shaft in it, can anyone give me a little info on how this shaft plays? Ill most likely pull it, approx what could i get for it realistically if i do go that route?

It was and is a great driver, but at the time i needed the money so I returned it. Might still go back and pick it back up

I think thats a high launch shaft... But I might be mistaken... it's happened before!

I like my tour burner, and my tour burner tp.

Been playing with the burner alot, and just KILLING it.. But I'm starting to try and fight the left side now, so I might give the TP some more tee time.

I'm either high cut and fade.... or dead high left push.

The W series Rombax is basically similar to Blueboard in terms of launch. The feel is different, of course. The Z is low launch, W mid launch, and X is high launch.

I believe a 5W06 would be around 58-59 grams, high launch, and mid-high spin. At this point in time, I'd think around $75 would be a good price. New graphics or old? I loved the Rombax I had, but it was a 7W06.

How you liking my 905R?

I have had a good year with it and I just mentioned to Rock, right after I bought his Cally 8.5* head, I stopped by the range and was just killing the ball with a nice trajectory and long. The 905R is going to put up a good fight with the new Cally/Accra SC75 M4 combo. Good luck with the TM and if you interested I have a MFS 65 Stiff (Orange Crush) and a Graman UL 540 without a home. Call for a round when you get back...gcinbc
