Recent ho's
So, I will pass along my recent hoeing. First, got a Grafalloy Epic shaft at a great deal, had it SST pured and pulled the stock Titty vodoo out of my 909. Tipped the Epic about 3/4 of an inch, and finished club to a playing length of 44.5 inches. Backweighted the club, what a rocket. Had some concerns about the epic, but they have so far proven to be baseless. Shaft is very good, dispersion is much better, and even my misses are still playable. Second was a Hogan #5 ti hybrid. Has the stock hogan factory steel shaft in it, this is another super solid club. Fills in a little bit og a gap I had between my #4 Cally and the 6 iron. I really like this hybrid. Stupid easy to hit, and is one of the more workable hybrids for me. Can hit it high, low, cut or draw, just a solid club, and got it cheap, NIB. Third and final was yesterday. Have had my eye on the new Cleveland putters. After the way my old putter was acting over the weekend, it was a prime time to acquire one of them. Walked in the our pro shop, anounced my intent to our pro, and walked out with the #3 blade classic putter. For the $$, what a putter. This thing just blows me away. To me, fell is close, and maybe even a bit better , then the Scotty's they had in the shop. So, I think I am done for a while, although the dirt cheap I-mix Cally heads are killing me, may have to pick up and FT5 and FT-I to play around with, and still need to build a beast driver. Oh well, I am a ho.
