Re: R9 fellows

I have one with an snv6 and am loving it, just hitting the ball like a girl and high right now which is sort of depressing.

Im looking for a non fake sleeve to try my whiteboard in it .

Next up is actually hit the ball past 260 again, seems like its been forever, playing bad every single day makes it seems like forever since you played good

Re: R9 fellows

I'm in love with my R9.. It's absolute fairway finder. I'm fighting hitting the ball high as hell now, but I'm also playing with it in the neutral upright position, so I'm gonna try and play it neutral, and tee it lower and play around with it.

That said.. While I don't feel like I'm BOMBING them, I'm in the midst of trying some things out.. Regardless of the mis-hits, it's DEAD on. I played from the tips yesterday, and have no idea why, other than to punish myself. I'm no long hitter by ANY means.. 250 average at best, with the wilder long ones with some wind help.

I sky them and they are still dead center, and even had the group of older guys behind me yesterday morning comment on how I seemed to be dead middle everytime.

I'll take shorter and fairway ANY day. I had 1 OB yesterday off the tee box, and missed 3 fairways.

Now if they have some magical irons and wedges I could hit so well.....

Oh, and I've got a Whiteboard and a Pershing I'm tempted to toss into mine. I've got the Motore in mine, and while it's nice, I think it's not exactly for me.. Would love a fubuki, if I didn't hit the ball so high anyways.

Re: R9 fellows

Im not playing the R9, but I know quite a few that are. And they are just loving it! A lot of them who couldn't get the ball off the tee or control the ball are very accurate, finding the fairway a lot more than before.

Re: R9 fellows

Nix- I didn't have a ton of trouble off the tee, but I was always leary of my miss, which would fade pretty hard.. Now, my miss maybe fades off less than 15 yards from a dead neutral standpoint. I also have it set, where I can turn it over hard, and not fear for the hook which I've started to have a problem with..

The craziest thing, is I've been able to really "drive" the ball where I want. I can shape it left or right, and I've still working on lowering the ball flight some via the shafts and ball placement.

That's why I'm amazed that more players aren't using it. Kinda makes "regular" drivers obsolete. I guess when I get the money...

Do it! I bought mine for my father, but he liked the FT-5 iMix instead.

You know, if you bought the driver, you could use the head cover for a, let's see, a pappoose or something like that!

Re: R9 fellows

I'm loving the R9 with the Oban Devotion. I have a AXIV Tour Black with a legit TP tip for sale. I didn't even want to hit it when I got the Oban from Ken. Alot of people say it's not as long as other drivers but thats not the case with me at all.
