Titleist 735CM

Anybody ever hit these? They've got good reviews but I don't trust those guys.

Those are the progressive set, right? The blades in the short irons and the larger cavity backs for the long irons?

I had a long look at them on Sunday. They sure feel nice at address, but i'll be honest, I never hit them. And what's with Titliest and having cord grips on all their clubs?

Anyways, they look nice.....a better looking set of irons from T in my mind...

Thanks Rock,

Same here, I looked at 'em & thought that's nice. Got a B-day coming up & I'll get myself a present. Wonder what I'll get myself.

You're right about those cord grips. What's up with that?

I wish clubs came with no grips. Then you could put some on and add the difference to the lessened cost of the clubs. Have one set with stock, OEM grips for demo, then put on whatever you want.

If I was to ever drop full bore money on a set of newly issued irons at a real golf store, I bet I could talk 'em into grips. That's the least they should do.

Wanna bet. I just droped 1800 on new 704 and had to buy new grips (check out the pics) cause the titleist cords where to small for my hands.

Well, I have narrowed it down between the mizuno mp 60's and the titleist 735's. I'd say I'm 80% sure I will get the titleists, must make my decision by thursday. Any last words of advice?
