So I posted on Monday or Tuesday about a shot in the dark I took on a Diamana Redboard from ebay. The seller only had one pic and the description was ok. Anyway he stated the shaft was broken so I ended up winning the auction for $.50 + $10 shipping. The shaft arrived today and well, the tip is broken but doesn't seem to bad. The other thing he didn't mention was that it was a flowerband edition, not sure how its different but whatever.

Anyway here is a pic of the tip, seems salvageable but man its going to be stiff....

That's not so bad.

Wrap some tape around it, mark it just above where it's broken, and saw it.

I imagine it's a pretty good pickup for $10.50.

Turn around and sell it on ebay as a fresh pull that has been "tipped".

I was thinking the same damn thing!

I couldn't do it though, I'm to honest although I doubt it would play any different and 99% of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I'm going to give it a go in my Adams driver. If it doesn work there I may stick it in a 3w, who knows. For $10.50 I'm happy and if it doesn't work out, I'm pretty sure I can get my money back!

I don't have a 3w at the moment, although I think this shaft would be a killer combo with a 13* or even a 15* TEE head. Say goodbye to your driver...:killersmiley:

seriously cut that sucka down and stuff it in that ladies 3W. Noone needs to know but you and me
