Anyone tried the "Unleash your mind" program?

Has anyone tried this program "Unleash your mind"? The guys I play with are slightly distracting when I try to hit my shot, so I needed something to block out the noise. I ordered it anyway........hope it helps.

Just tell them to STFU.

Honestly, I have never had this issue. I can block anything out. Guys are amazed that I can hit shots with car alarms, other people talking, animals coming out of the brush, guys throwing tees in my line of site, whatever. I don't get distracted all that easy.

I do play with guys that back off if they can hear you breathing....:bang:

I have been known to be in full conversation while hitting, so I guess I am not easily distracted LOL.

The correct name of the program is "Thought Free Golf".............the company's name is "unleash your etc etc". I have trouble with that area........can't block anything out.

I'm with ya smokin. I can't handle much movement or noise in my immediate area. Anything over probably 20 or 30 yards away is no biggie as long as it's not some dillweed yelling. Let me know how it works out for you.

My buddies and I will sometimes throw tees at each others balls (golf, not human) mid swing (only to each other of course!!!).

You'd be amazed at how good you can get at ignoring things under these circumstances.

Nothing worse than waiting for the tee that never comes though.....

Kinda strange with me, because I have had people appologize to me a lot in the past for talking or doing things during my swing or putting where I didn't notice, and have even been know to talk to people just prior to putting if they ask me a question while I am getting ready.

Although I do find it annoying as crap when people people are talking or wispering prior to getting ready, and still doing the same when I am standing over the ball about to hit or putt. I think it is more a matter of annoyance because they should probably know better. Kinda like whispering. It's friggin' dead silent and you are whispering because you know your are not supposed to be talking?? I would rather you just talk. I also guess in my case, it is because they are usually doing so prior to getting ready, when I am not already focused on the shot, then won't shut up. Just like if I am setting up and hear a car or cart coming, I will step back, but when I am about to hit there have been many times it has happened and I didn't notice. Have even been told people yelled from the car and I didn't notice.

Probably the thing that annoys me the most is when people are taking practice swings while you are getting ready to hit or during your swing right off the side tee box. A guy on our team does this, and talks, and it seems to help you learn to deal with it, although we usually have to tell him to be quite when our opponents are hitting. Was in my backswing once and got hit with a divot from him. Backed away and asked him if he could at least keep his divots to himself. He didn't even seem to know what I was talking about.

Played with a friend once, where a car driving by yelled fore during his backswing, broke his concentration and caused him to slice the ball. The ball damn near hit the car from the guy that yelled fore. We were praying. :laugh:
