Thread: Diamond Tour Components

  1. Diamond Tour Components

Anybody know anything about diamond tour golf components?? I have always used higher end golf components..... Wishon, SMT, Maltby, Swing Science, to build custom clubs but have never gone with the lower end component companies.... with the exception of Hireko.... which is not a company for the price. These guys rival in cost with Hireko and they have really good reviews (they are on the cloney side however) but just wondering if anyone has used their products?

I would tend to put them in the 'high end' category, mainly for their forged irons, which are pretty sweet...

Don't know anything about Diamond Tour, though...

I've never hold a Maltby club in my hands, although people here talk marvels about them, but I can't think of a Maltby head as High End Component. Mayb ehtey perform great, but High End.... I guess I have a different definition, specially compared to KZG, or Nak (are those "components"?), or Wishon.

If a $20 head is a High COmponent, how much are you expecting Diamond Tour to cost? 99 cents?

    Re: Diamond Tour Components

I've been happy with a lot of the "InaZone" brand clubheads that Diamond Tour sells.

I have a set of CNC Satin Spin Milled wedges in the bag right now. Very Vokey-like, good feel and spin the heck out of the ball. Nice heads for $18.

I've built quite a few of their putters too. Until I got the Heavy Putter, I gamed one of several InaZone putters and wouldn't have a problem going back if I had to.

I built a set of their Lady Diablo lookalike driver and fairway woods for a friend's daughter. She hits them well and the heads seem well built and finished.

Their shipping is reasonable and customer service is good. No complaints from me.
What's in my Datrek Edge cart bag:

Tour Edge Exotics 10.5° GD YS-6+ Stiff
    Tour Edge Exotics CB1 16.5° 4W
    Power Play System-Q Hybrids 19
    °, 23° and 25° FST Pro White
    Acer XP905 Pro
    6-PW, Dynalite Gold S300
InaZone CNC Spin Milled Satin 50°/8°, 54°/14°, 58°/4°
    Boccieri Golf
    B3-M Heavy Putter

    Best Round: 68 (par 70, 71.1/123)
    Handicap: 11.8

I'll give some of their components a try....As far as Maltby not being high end it is every bit high end and extremely reasonable..... not like Nak who is ridiculously overpriced. I also carry Wishon, SMT, and Swing Science components and other than Wishon's 560's I'll take a Maltby iron head over anything else..... especially the MMB forged blades..... those are one sweet and forgiving blade as well as being one of the nicest component heads I have ever seen.
