Adams Pro Gold are great hybrids and come stock with a great shaft. And you can pick them up right now for $100 brand spankin' new.
Looking at dropping my 4I out of the bag and adding a hybrid back into the bag. Any suggestions? Looking for something that is workable. Thinking maybe one of the Adams or maybe one of the older TM TP hybrids. Looking for a 4I replacemenet only. Not looking to drop anything else out of my bag but the 4I.

you can get brand new Nickent hybrids (3DX, 4DX, 5DX) for insane cheap prices on Ebay right now. I just picked up a brand new 4DX hyrbid for $39, a brand new 3DX hybrid for my dad for $29, and a brand new 4DX 4 wood for $50

Slick, looked at those, they are in the running. 1967, how workable are the nickents?

At those prices I might stock up. I have no desire to ever play a hybrid that isn't a 4DX. I hit an absolute HERO shot with my 18.5 last time I was out. Top 3, if not THE best shot I've ever hit.
I can turn these both ways no problem, Bry. I play an 18.5 as a 5w/3i filler, and a 23 for my 4i. LOVE them both.

For me, hybrids are always just personal preference. I have tried many different hybrids (Adams, TourEdge, TM) and always fall back to my Nike CPR *22 1st generation which is supposedly "outdated" but I continue to nuke it. This is my 3-4 iron replacement as I continue to search for my 5w/2 iron replacement--I am trying last years burner this season. I guess we will have to wait and see...

I also have to give high marks on the 909H Titty hybrid i just picked up.

Totally agree on the personal preference statement, trumb. I just grabbed a Callaway FT 18 degree (VERY workable) off the used shelf today and was nuking the hell out of it. I'm now contemplating replacing the 3 Wood with it because I fly them both about 250 and I have so much more control with the hybrid.
