    Cool

There is "NO BEST FAIRWAY WOOD". The best one is the one "YOU" hit the best, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks is BEST. Demo a bunch and get the one you hit the best. It's that simple.

  4. Easy to hit and won't break the bank... get either a Steelhead (any version) or a Taylor made 200 series.

The TM's are becoming increasingly harder to find, since noone wants to part with them, but they are a very nice FW in my opinion.

But there are lots of options out there... damn, I play a mizuno and I didn't even recommend that one.

The G3 3 wood is a piece of piss to hit.

  8. If you have A LOT of dough to spend, the TM R7 is the best fairway club I've used. You need to try some out for yourself. The Ping G5 is also a rrrreeeallly nice club.

Golf club reviews seem to always mention the Cleveland Quad Pro. Some like it better than the Launcher which replaced the Quad Pro. Very sweet, easy swinging.

Why a low profile? I bought a mitsushiba...They are inexpensive...low profile and That thing is great to hit..

I would agree with the Adams

Thats what they do, and they have done it well. It may not be the best club per se, but it will be a good club for the dough.

Longiron, the 980 ois the old model, you've quoted the 904,which is the newer model.

Also,if the poster goes for a 980,the 'strong' version has a shallower face.I love it,with a steel shaft, its a great club.Get the G2 if you wnat more height.
