Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

not worth it. If you're looking for some quality clubs at decent prices, check out some of last years or the year before's models. I just nabbed a TM 300Ti 7.5 degree driver with a Fuji Vista Pro for 8 bucks plus shipping

What I'm looking for is a driver with a medium sized head, about 300-320 cc, non-titanium, that goes a mile.

Why non-Ti?

Definitely, the Warbird is out then. It's only 195cc. I would think finding a stainless 300cc+ driver might be a bit of a stretch. Only with the innovation of Ti did faces and heads start to grow to this size.

I can't think of anything that might even approach that....

I just hate the way Titanium sounds. My Hogan sounds like a empty soup can.

Maybe 250cc would be enough if the face is wide enough.

Try a Great Big or Biggest Big Bertha. They don't sound like the new paint cans do. They're more the classic sounding driver.

I bought a Great Big driver for my GF because she wanted to get into golf, but didn't like the big 400cc drivers. The GBB was a perfect fit. It kills the ball, and I got it super cheap on e-bay (~25 bucks).

Too bad that she never uses it.

The one you bought for your girlfriend would probably be about right for me. What is it, a 15* on an L flex shaft?

Its a stock Callaway regular shaft. It's a good shaft tho.

I can post some pics if you'd like.

you could try to nab the older Titleist driver's, they're a steal and dont sound tinky at all. Great clubs, 975D is one of the classics that all clubs were measured against. There are a few others as well, but thats what i'd recommend

Another f******g sniper ran up the price on the 10* Steelhead III, so I let it go. I kinda wanted a 11* anyway. From now on I'm not bidding until the last 10 seconds. Two can play this game.

The 983Ks are still popular on eBay, and the prices can get steep depending on how many idiots want it. I'll look for one, though, as well as the 975D.

Wow. I just found out that one of Taylor Made's few MATT systems is located just 6 miles away from me at Jones Creek. Anyone had one of these motion analysis thingys done?

Titty 983K 9.5*, Grafalloy Prolite regular flex, on the way. With any luck it might get here by Friday and I can try it out on Saturday.

$85.99 delivered.
