1 Headcover left....

Ok so I have no headcover on my 4wood... I just picked up an MP60 3iron brand new for $50. I brought it out to the range and after a minor adjusment, back more in my stance, I was hitting it very well. 5yd. draw, sailing over the 200yd. sign. I still would like to have it bent to a 22* and put a NS 1050 in it but we'll see. I'll be playing 10.5 driver, 4wood, 3i,5-pw, 50* and 54*. I plan on playing the next 3 evenings and teeing off plenty with the 3iron.

I completely understand, my driver has up and left town on me. Next time I go out I will be teeing off with the 4 wood.

Not a bad idea. For some reason I went out yesterday and was hitting my TS a solid 285, and working it down to 240 at the same time.

Only downside was the driver was fine too(310) :(

I can usually belt the 4 wood pretty good. The point was I replaced my hybrid with a 3iron though.

It's better than the Miura price. $149.99 with the Nippon shafts... each. I figure it's half of what I'd pay for a decent used hybrid (the $50) I was kind of lured by the sexy look of the MP 60. Besides, if I go for the whole set I already have one of them.

I am with you on that one, I have been buting TA5's one iron at a time, I have the shafts already cut and gripped, once I have the whole set I wi;; be smooth. Complete sets sell for between 180-250. Including shafts that I want I will have the whole thing for 150. Brand new in plastic 8 iron is on its way.

Nice. What shafts are you putting in? I wouldn't mind having the MP60 set with the Project X shafts. I'd better get the Miura's finished first though. I also want to put all the same shafts in my 200steels and possibly paint the heads. Projects for January and Febuary though.

I am not going to nearly that level of custom, when I went to the Pro Golf Discount store in Tacoma I figured out that I really liked the feel of the True Temper Dynamic Gold S300, so I bought 6 of them, when my bag is complete(This time) I will have the Callaway Driver(Maybe a Launcher) Cleveland 4 wood, Halo for the 3i, then 4-9 TA5's with the new shafts, the 49*, 53*, and 58* Cleveland 588's. Putter is still way up in the air for now.
