Got my new driver!!!

Convinced my wife to let me drop a bit of cash today. Nevada Bob's in Vancouver was blowing out Adams drivers, and then they had a $10 off coupon. So for $97 I got a Adams Redline RPM 460 Comp, 9*, with Fujikura for Adams stiff shaft. Per launch monitor, I was hitting within about a 10 yard circle 260-270 out there over about 10 shots. Will have to take her to the range tonight!!!

I'd post pix, but no digital camera yet. That will be the next purchase

That sounds like a super deal. I thought those were going for $300 this summer? Hope it works for you. (And someone will come along and say "and if it doesn't warbird will buy it off you")......

nice pickup.

other than my original tight lies 3 wood, which i think was made incorrectly, i have not been disappointed by an Adams club yet.

Very nice, you need to update your signature now!

That's an amazing deal, makes me almost want one...eh, that's okay, I'll get Warbird's when he is done with it.

Actually our anniversary was Saturday, and then a friend was getting married that same night, so we had a very nice brunch cruise on a Sternwheller boat up the Cascade Locks. On the drive home, as she was basking in the glow of romance (not to mention several strong mimosas) I mentioned that I couldn't keep borrowing a driver from people, and that this was on sale...

The deal-sealer was the $10 off coupon in the paper. She said, "Okay, get your driver"...

To which I replied "WOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I "won" the bidding of a Redline Quad for £51 on Ebay there yesterday, but explained of my misfortunes, so he offered it to the next guy. Brand new with NT Prototype shaft. Are they any good, these things....?
