Uh oh...off the wagon...

Hi, my name is Rockford, and I'm a practicing Club Ho. I had been "clean" for almost a year now, and the pressure of an upcoming trip to Texas put me over the edge to where I needed a "fix".

(breaks down, sobbing uncontrollably into his palms)

This is my current "Hi".

R35

PS....WTF is wrong with me? Soon to have an Accuflex installed within it's nether regions...

Looks like Lumpy sat on it. Probably can't be fixed.

Congrats on the new buy.
The HI-Bore is a great club and seriously long. What shaft are you putting in it??

Garret,

It's very easy to hit. But, it's somewhat backwards for conventional thinking of 460cc drivers.

You have to tee the ball lower to get better ball flight. And it likes you to swing at it.

Apparently, and I have no in hand data to say otherwise, it's IMPOSSIBLE to duck hook. And the natural flight is a 3 yard fade.

I'll take 16 of those every round, thank you.

Accuflex Evolution or a V2. There's an outside chance on a X-stiff Comp NT, but we'll see.

I hit this thing in the nets on a monitor and it WENT. A little lower (felt like I was hitting it a bit of the sole) but solid and straight. One comment is that it felt a bit dead, not a ding but more of a thud. Any thoughts?

And I'll bet I could hook the arse off it!!

Good luck with the shaft combo. I did really like the V2 and of course i love the Comp NT.

But did you really need it?

OF COURSE I DID! CRIPES!

(I have to keep telling myself that otherwise i'll run into my own sword.)

It's not as loud as the 460 by any means, but it still sounds like a golf club. Some of the new clubs sound like a paint can attached to a fishing rod.

No word from Jody (Accuflex) as of late, he must be out at shows or something. I'd like to get some input from him before making a decision on shafts. If I could get something like the NT, I would be flying.

Came THIS close to picking up an Axis yesterday too. I should have....maybe not.

Rock, mine turned up this morning as promised but no headcover I'm affraid (didn't read the listing properly ) But it's in superb condition and had the Vista pro 70 shaft that feels great. I only got a chance to play 6 holes with it today as I've been at the hospital with my little boy all afternoon, he had a bad asthma attack and fevor. They gave him steriods and other stuff he's ok now and back at his mums house. There are some more pics on the listings

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I think I did some good business on this one. I've been off work on the sick for the past 3 weeks. Last week I was bored so popped down to Nevada bobs to have a go in the nets. The HiBore was £250 and they only had stock shaft it felt great at impact though. I have been hooking the arse off my FT-3 recently so wanted to take the plunge and get something more forgiving to have along side my FT-3. The Nike SQ was on offer for £169.99 so i took one home with me.
I saw this on ebay and it had the Vista Pro which was the one I wanted. I put my SQ on ebay 'buy it now' for £149.99 plus £10 p&p sunday night checked monday morning and it had sold, made my bid of £151.85 for the HiBore and got it today.

Good news on the driver.

Great news on the wee boy. Give him a high five for me.

That Vista shaft....does it feel heavy? I debated getting one to try. The local shop didn't have a demo, so I coulnd't give it a run. What is it comparable to in terms of feel?

I've seen a few headcovers on Flea Bay for cheap. 10 bucks USD usually. Nab one up, or get something custom. Keep that baby mint!

PS....did Jeff4i take that picture?

I love mine

Diamana red board S-flex on a 9.5 gives it a nice trajectory.

Definitely the Evo, not the Lite. The description of it gives me the impression it's tip soft, which is what I don't want. The stoutness is found more in the EVO, if I'm not mistaken by Jody's thoughts.
