Next Hoing Project.

I just put a bunch of crap up on Ebay for sale again. If I get it sold I'll have $160 towards my next hoing project. What will it be....

I like these bad boys more and more every time I see them http://www.taylormadegolf.com/product_detail.asp?pID=28

The Taylormade TP Black Y-cutter wedges. After reading about the heel and toe reliefs I am so sold on them. I plan to go 52-56-58 and have the 52 bent to a 51-07, the 56 bent to a 55-11 and the 58 bent to a 59-07.

What do you think? What's next on your list?

Bunch of crap. College textbooks, what's left of my snowplow wiring and control box, nothing golf related. I do have an MP60 3iron I might throw up on there if you're interested.

Good luck with the R7 TP. I had one for 3 days. Let me just say a circa 1963 Spaulding persimmon head is like 5 times as forgiving. No more "tour" drivers for me.

i'm going back in for the Cleveland copper wedges, 53 (bent to 52) 56 and 60˚. I had the set, but sold them last year, thinking the newer ones would be better - and bought pearl CG10's - but alas, i hanker after my old buddies.... just seemed to get more grab on chips / pitches around the green, you know, the old .....bounce... STOP!!!!

so - anyone have / had these beauties?

im not looking for forgiving. Also did the one you get have the middle of the face without or with lines through the middle portion? or if you remember? because i learned that there are alot of counterfeit r7's out there, and the way to tell is that the fake ones have scoring lines across the entire face, the real r7's dont have them in the middle.

This was it. I hit a pull-hook so bad I had to yell "Fore" and then hit the deck. I don't know if it's physically possible but it looked to be about 170 degrees of sidespin.

Dangit, that's not it.

Ezra, if I could, I would shake your hand.

Personally Piper, I think the r7 as is, is plenty workable. That's why I went with a normal TP and put my focus into the shaft.

**EDIT** Ezra, how old are you dude?

Why would you shake my hand?? I sold that driver after less than 72hrs, it's those TP wedges I'm after. BTW- I'm 30, with the wisdom of a 32yr. old and the maturity of a 15yr. old. Why do you ask?

BTW- The original quad was a good balance between forgiveness and workability. I could cut fades hard around doglegs. The 360XD is like straight, pull, or push. Takes a huge cut across the ball to produce a fade or draw. Hopefully the R7425 will be like the quad but larger and longer.

I just love Ebay. Half the crap is sold already. Enough for the 58* wedge, should I choose to buy it.

Jeff, its not so much the workability as y im going for a TP, its ive hit both (exact same shaft in both btw), and just the feel of the normal r7 felt almost like it was a little dead to me, off the TP face the ball felt more alive i guess would be the word. But i have put focus into the shaft and i tihnk im guna get it, its the Mitsubishi Rayon (specially made for tmade drivers on TP models), which this shaft has same specs as the Mitsi. Blue Board.

Keep it. You'll need to give it to me when Tiger is playing a Scotty at Augusta.

I'll take either a 58* MD Groove X-Tour wedge or a 58* Mizzy Raw. Spinner shaft, please and thank you.
