In your own opionion, our most hated equipment and why...

I have some vices with some golf equipment. Some, I have no idea why, I just do.

I'm sure everyone has a club they just can't hit and it's sitting in the garage as a rat killer or a shaft that they just could never get their brain wrapped around hitting. That putter that just looks gawd awful to you. Remember that 3 wood your neighbour has that looks like an apple, but he hits that bloody thing a mile?

Let's hear of a few peices of equipment that everyone hates. It's nothing personal here, just a list and a place to vent.

Me?

Anything Titleist (except the wedges and forged irons) and the Nike Sasquatch. I also LOATHE the Aldila NV and any OEM Callaway shaft (save: Uniflex steel).

Don't ask me why.

Any Cleveland OEM shaft ever made. Ballooning, whippy, useless junk no matter what the flex. "Hey, let's make one shaft to fit everyone!!".

Every Top Flite "stone ball" ever made. Probably dinged up more iron faces then any course ever played.

Balls that have "distance", "maximum distance", "mega-distance", "outdistancing distance", or "titanium anything" on the boxes.

Long (chest or belly) putters. It's not a putting stroke.

Clevelend clubs.

I don't hate them, but I swear everyone was made with what I don't want. I've hit the HiBore, Launcher, and multiple wedges and never liked any of them. Now, that is not to say they never will, and I don't like being close minded, so...

The Sasquatch.

I hit it decent, but I just can't stand the look of it.

Oh come on, what would you do without me? I actually didn't mind the look of the Hibore, just felt dead on the face to me. I like the "glass breaking" effect of a TM R5/R7 series face. My old quad used to make my ears ring. The Squatch is nasty, I hit one again the other day after reading a post by WBL. It's like a hoover on a stick. As far as what I've owned... probably that Scotty SD 2.5. Just sheer disappointment, so pretty, yet so $hitty. That was one case where the arrow may have been to blame, I dropped 3-4 ppr. immediatley after switching back to my old KC2.

Why some lesser brands make gimmick clubs for the high handicapper like chipping clubs (look like putters but have loft like an 8 iron. Or 11woods). Wierd clubs that don't really help anyone.

Anything Callaway pre 2005 that doesn't have Steelhead written on it somewhere. (their new stuff is great tho)
